About Din Ho’s Chef Viet:

Chef Viet specializes in serving the rare flavors of traditional and authentic Cantonese-style BBQ and cuisine that has made its mark in Austin. Having spent over four decades in various Chinese kitchens from New York to California, his mastery of the cast iron wok has honed his culinary skills to deliver the some of the most mouth watering dishes to his eager clientele.  His expertise ranges from staple Cantonese dishes like Egg Foo Young to banquet style Seafood Lovers Birds Nest. 

But to Chef Viet, words don’t do justice when it comes to food, one must come and try out his cooking for yourself!

Din Ho offers a family-style meal for 10 guests to include the following dishes:

  • Hot and Sour Soup
    Velvety smooth with tangy notes, zesty spices and a fiery kick. Cooked with shredded pork, sliced bamboo shoots, silken tofu, and wood ear mushrooms.
  • Beijing Duck
    Roasted and sliced tender duck meat served with fluffy steamed buns, shredded green onions & hoisin sauce
  • Char Siu
    Sweet-savory flavor Cantonese-style bbq pork
  • Chicken Snow Pea Leaves with Black Bean Sauce
    Sliced chicken with tender pea shoots in mild spicy fermented black bean sauce
  • Double Lobster with XO
    Fresh caught lobster, fired on the wok with our umami flavor bomb made with dried seafood and cured ham
  • Beef Chow Fun
    A staple Cantonese dish, beef stir fried with har fun, bean sprouts, onions, and dark soy sauce
  • Scallop Fried Rice
    Rich delicious dried conpoy paired with XO sauce and egg white fried rice
  • Egg Tofu King Mushroom Baby Bok Choy
    Silky soft egg tofu, pan fried with thin slice mushrooms dressed with garlic
