The Peached Tortilla
Discover the perfect blend of modern Asian comfort food and Southern charm at The Peached Tortilla. While the restaurant has brought some of the original Peached Tortilla trucks’ street food favorites to the brick-and-mortar experience – including its famous tacos and JapaJam burger – it boasts a number of new menu items influenced by Chef Eric Silverstein’s childhood growing up in Asia.
About Founder Eric Silverstein: Born and raised in Tokyo, Eric Silverstein comes from a mixed heritage. As a third-culture kid with a Chinese mother, an American father, and having traveled all over Asia including Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Bali, Eric’s palate was defined by the different types of food in Asia that came to shape and hone his taste buds to seek out the kind of flavors he adored as a child.
This refinement of tastes inevitably evolved into a strong passion for food, from the way it’s prepared to the manner in which it’s presented and eaten. The name “peached” to Eric effectively means becoming “flavorsmitten” with any particular dish, something he found appropriate when he opened his food truck in 2010, thus coining the name, “Peached Tortilla.”
For Eric, The Peached Tortilla is not only providing excellent food to his community, but is also about re-creating some of the best experiences he had as a child and bringing them to his clientele. Their fusion-inspired cuisine takes inspiration from what Eric considers to be some of the best culinary experiences he has had and wishes to share with the Austin crowd.

The Peached Tortilla offers a 3-course meal for 8 guests consisting of the following:
Appetizers (choose two of the following for the table)
- Asian Pear Miso Salad (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free) baby kale & mixed greens, overnight pear kimchi, radish duo, herbs, miso pear vinaigrette
- Thai Chop Chop Salad (contains shellfish & peanuts) chopped napa, fried tofu, green apple, fried shallots, thai vinaigrette, fish sauce, caramel, herbs (Vegetarian option available upon request)
- Kimchi Arancini Balls aonori, wasabi & sriracha aioloi
- Crispy Umami Chicken Wings (GF) fish sauce vinaigrette, herbs, shallots
- Pork Belly Buns Vietnamese braised pork belly, green onions, cucumbers, Chinese bbq sauce (vegetarian option available upon request)
- Mom’s Toast (contains shellfish) chopped shrimp, ground pork, gochujang chili sauce, fresh herbs

- Southern Fun braised brisket, kale, bean sprouts, wide rice noodles (vegetarian option available upon request)

- BBQ Brisket Tacos southern dry rubbed brisket, creamy apple slaw, roasted peach bbq sauce (gluten-free with corn tortillas)
