AEATX: Asian Eats ATX

Wanderlust Wine Co. / Acento

Here’s another one that’s different from the rest of our Asian Eats ATX offerings. Wanderlust Wine Co. has teamed up with Acento to offer a truly unique experience.

Enjoy a Grand Tasting in a unique wine cave setting hidden behind Wanderlust’s bookshelf! Taste a full-fledged Italian menu, including 9 wines led by Wanderlust’s team of sommeliers and paired with chef-curated Italian-inspired food bites.

(Yes, we know Italian cuisine is not Asian. Wanderlust Wine Co., however, is Asian-owned. We’re not that picky…)

About Wanderlust Wine Co:

About Acento:

More than just a food truck, Acento is a captivating food experience born from a deep-rooted passion for reinvention, delicious flavors, second chances, and unwavering family support. Acento is located adjacent to Wanderlust Wine Co. at 1603 Barton Springs Road.

The venture is the brainchild of Chef Alexander Danon. Chef Alexander’s culinary expertise has been perfected over decades, culminating in a desire to share unforgettable flavors with the world – especially his loved ones. Behind the scenes, Carlota Gedovius brings logistical genius and a pragmatic touch to the business, ensuring Acento’s success in every aspect. Central to Acento’s success is Carlo Danon, the eldest son, who brings a wealth of service industry expertise gained during his time pursuing a master’s degree at UT Austin. His meticulous management ensures smooth operations and exceptional customer service. Adding a touch of artistry and innovation to Acento’s identity is daughter Rebeca Danon, whose creative flair transforms everything from menus to the truck’s aesthetic, ensuring each aspect reflects the brand’s bold and eclectic energy.

Together, this dynamic family weaves a tapestry of flavors and experiences that linger long after the last bite. Acento isn’t just about food; it’s a celebration of life’s flavors, shared with love and passion.
